Service description

Send My Letter Online ("the Service") is operated by Big Sky Code, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). We provide an online platform for sending physical mail through the United States Postal Service (USPS). You upload a document, provide a mailing address, and pay. We print, envelope, stamp, and mail your letter through our print-and-mail fulfillment provider.

No account required

You may use the Service without creating an account. An email address is required for order confirmation and delivery updates.

Prohibited content

You may not use the Service to send content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Threatens, harasses, or defames any person
• Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others
• Constitutes fraud or is intended to deceive the recipient
• Contains illegal material
• Violates USPS mailing regulations or standards

You are solely responsible for the content you send and represent that you have the legal right to send it to the named recipient.

Your liability and indemnification

You assume all liability for the content you submit. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Big Sky Code, LLC from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms or any law.

No content review

We do not review, verify, or edit the content of documents you submit. Documents are processed automatically and mailed as received. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with these terms.

Our right to refuse or cancel

We may refuse, cancel, or refund any order at our sole discretion if we believe its content violates these terms or any law. We may cooperate with law enforcement and produce records (including order data, payment identity, IP address, and document hash) in response to valid legal process.

Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed before payment and include printing, envelope, and USPS postage. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Once a letter has been submitted to our print-and-mail provider, the order cannot be canceled; see our Refund Policy for details.

Delivery disclaimers

We do not guarantee delivery, delivery timing, or delivery outcomes. We specifically disclaim responsibility for USPS or carrier delays, misdelivery, or non-delivery; undeliverable mail resulting from address information you provided; returned mail; and postal service disruptions or force majeure events. Once your letter is handed to USPS, its delivery is outside our control.

First-Class Mail has no guaranteed delivery date and limited or no tracking. When Certified Mail is offered, USPS, not us, provides tracking and proof of delivery.

Accuracy of information you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of the recipient name and address, return address, and document content you submit. We are not responsible for failures (including non-delivery) caused by inaccurate information you provided.

Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, including any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

Big Sky Code, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that specific order.

Document handling

Your uploaded document is retained for a limited period after mailing to resolve payment disputes and delivery issues, then permanently deleted. A cryptographic hash of your document is retained indefinitely for verification purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
